Ariana Madix, 37, stepped out in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 16 with a huge smile and a new way of doing things. THE Vanderpump Rules The star was spotted having lunch with a pal with almost bleached blonde hair – a change from the honey blonde hair she rocked at her ex’s TomTom launch party which she reveled in last month last on Instagram. It’s also a shade lighter than she had at her friend’s destination wedding earlier this month, where she was also seen genuinely happy with a smile on her face. As fans know, Ariana is currently dealing with the aftermath of discovering her boyfriend of nearly a decade, Tom Sandovalengaged in a months-long affair with their Vanderpump Rules co-star and friend of Ariana Raquel Leviss28. The shocking news – which came out on March 3 – reportedly caught Ariana off guard, and she turned to her friends, including Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, Scheana Shayand old VRP star Kristen Doubted, for support. “Ariana recapped what happened with her friends and castmates, the majority of whom are disappointed. Tom seems unable to take responsibility for his actions or express any substantial remorse,” an insider said. page 6 for a March 6 report.
Ariana broke her silence on the matter via a March 16 Instagram post that showed her fanning herself while wearing a stunning pink and green ombre dress. “I want to express my deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support I have received from friends, family and people I have never even met over the past two weeks,” she began in the caption. “When I felt like I couldn’t even stand, you all gave me the strength to carry on and saw me through my darkest hours.”
“To say I was devastated and broken is an understatement. however, I know I am not alone in this,” she continued. “Many of my closest friends are also mourning this loss at this time and reeling from this betrayal on so many levels. I am so lucky to have the best support system in the world and I hope I can thank everyone for the love you have shown me. what doesn’t kill me is better to run.
Tom shared an apology on March 5, but rather than apologize to Ariana, he told his bar and restaurant family Schwartz & Sandy’s – including co-owner and co-star Tom Schwartz — how much he regretted that his actions could affect them. “Hey, I totally understand and deserve your anger and disappointment with me, but please get my friends and family out of this situation Schwartz…” he began in the Instagram post, trying to protect his crew. “Schwartz only found out about this very recently and certainly didn’t condone my actions. It was a very personal thing.” He also noted that it would be taking a step back from the restaurant for the foreseeable future.
He followed up with an apology to Ariana on March 8. “I want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I hurt during this process. Above all, I want to apologize to Ariana. I made mistakes, was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt someone I love. No one deserves to feel this pain so traumatically and publicly,” he began in his second apology. “I can only imagine how devastating this was for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really awful about it.
“My biggest regret is that I disgraced Ariana,” he continued in the lengthy post. “I never wanted to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends. My love for Ariana was stronger than any camera could ever have captured. have ever been filmed. The same goes for some of our greatest struggles. I wish things would happen in a different order and that our relationship would not be badly tarnished, and that it would end with the same respect for her than in the beginning. I owed better to Ariana.
“I’m beyond sad that it ended like this. The choices I made hurt so many people,” he repeated. “I acted in a way that doesn’t match who and how I want to be. I will continue to reflect and work on myself. I have work to do. I always have and I always will.
Raquel also publicly apologized to Ariana in a statement she shared with entertainment tonight. “I want to apologize for my actions and choices first and foremost to Ariana, as well as to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I have to own up to my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana,” she said.
She continued, “I reflect on my choices, talk to a counselor, and learn things about myself, such as my patterns of codependency and reliance on being and feeling loved. I have sought emotional validation through intimate relationships that are unhealthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others, and often prioritizing intimate connection over my friendships. I take steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.
She went on to confirm that she had started counseling to help get to the root and eradicate her troubling behavior and signed off saying she would prioritize her mental health going forward.
